Year 1

Year one is a really exciting year. We have to work hard but we also have lots of fun activities to enjoy. Our first topic is Dinosaur Planet where we will be learning about dinosaurs, fossils and the amazing discoveries of palaeontologists such as Mary Anning.

Before Christmas, we’ll be learning all about wild animals and pets in our Paws, Claws and Whiskers topic and will hopefully visiting some real life animals! During the Summer term, we will take part in the phonics screening, but don’t worry, we have plenty of time to get you ready for it.
