Attendance and Punctuality
At Blakeley, we know the importance of positive attendance and punctuality. It has a massive impact on children’s current academic achievement as well as the positive lifelong habits it can embed.
We understand that sometimes children are unable to attend school,due to illness or exceptional circumstances. In these circumstances we ask parents to contact school from 8.30am to inform us of the reason for absence. As a school we implement Staffordshire and National guidance relating to unauthorised absence, which means a single day may result in parents being fined.
