Child Care for Children aged 3 to 11

Since September 2017, Blakeley Bears have been running a nursery class, for children aged 3 and over, alongside the reception classes in school. Information can be obtained from the school office.

The wrap-a-round club is governor run and offers a high quality childcare facility – before and after school. Such a facility is known as an ‘Out of School Club’ because it offers children a safe, stimulating environment outside of school hours. The club is not open access. Children must be registered with the Blakeley Heath Before and After School Care Club and be collected by either parents or carers.

The main aim of the club is to help children develop their full potential through positive Social, Physical, Intellectual, Creative and Emotional (SPICE) experiences by providing a happy, stable and secure environment where parents and carers feel confident to leave their children.

The wrap-around club also seeks to maintain high standards at all times and to recognise values deriving from different backgrounds i.e. racial, cultural, religious and linguistic.

(Includes a light breakfast, e.g. cereal and toast)

After School Club

3.30 – 5.30 pm
(This will include a light snack, e.g. sandwiches, yoghurt, fruit etc.)
